Section 5: Dewatering (Updated June 2013)

 

Dewatering equipment for damage control is divided into the following categories: Dewatering-Overview, 1 ½ Derbyhire Eductor set-up from fireplug to OVBD, 1 ½ Derbyshire Eductor set-up from ESP/P100 to OVBD, 2 ½ Peri-Jet Eductor set-up from fireplug to OVBD, 2 ½ Peri-Jet Eductor set-up from ESP/P100 to OVBD, P100 set-up under 20ft, P100 set-up greater than 20ft, P100’s (2) set-up in tandem, Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) basic set-up,  Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) w/suction hose and strainer, Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) (2) set-up in tandem, Dewatering through hole cut in bulkhead and Recovery/Restorations.
