TEST TITLE: P-100 Pump in tandem deep water dewatering exercise on scaffolding on DCETF
Test #3
OBJECTIVE / Test set-up criteria: Dewatered flooded space using P-100 rigged in tandem. First pump (pump A) is taking suction from space, discharging into second pump (pump B) with a height of 30 feet above flooded compartment. The second pump discharges into Perijet eductor and discharge 30 feet. The compartment B-1 was filled with about 5 6 of water equal to 1320 gallons and left with 1' (240gal.) of water for a total of 1080 gallons pumped.
DESCRIPTION OF TEST - RESULTS: Pump A discharge was 40 PSI, pump B discharge was 85 PSI. Dewatering time was 5:19 as compared to the 9:20 using only the two P-100s. The total dewatering was approximately 202 gallons per minute.

RECOMMENDATIONS: 4 discharge hose on the Perijet MUST be free of all kinks and do not allow pinching of hose while going over lips or when curves are in hose.
