TEST TITLE: Confined Space Rescue System
RESULTS: The rescue equipment was setup in the A2 compartment area of the DCETF. The equipment comes in three parts with each weighing approximately 20 lbs. The equipment was fairly easy to attach to the hatch or scuttle with a quick clamping system. This equipment can also be adjusted to difference heights and accommodate variable widths. Also, this equipment must be place over a knife-edge hatch or scuttle in order to work property. Overall this equipment was good and should be tested with a rescue retractable system. STATUS: Completed Phase 1

DESCRIPTION OF TEST: The rescue system equipment was setup in the A2 compartment area of the DCETF. The rescue equipment was first tried on the hatch with out too much difficulty and then tried on the scuttle. In both set ups the rescue system was assembling in less than 2-3 minutes.
