TEST TITLE: Rhine Air AVT-10 Exhaust Blower
RESULTS: The AVT-10 exhaust blower equipment was setup in the F1 compartment area of the DCETF. The exhaust blower had reading of 1300 CFM with no ducting and with ducting on the exhaust side. The CFM was cut in half when the ducting was on both exhaust and intake side. Overall the blower is easy to setup and light to carry to any space. The performance is good. The only question wills the performance change after the blower sitting in a saltwater air environmental. STATUS: Completed Phase 1

DESCRIPTION OF TEST: The AVT-10 exhaust blower was set up in the compartment F1 of the DCETF. The first test was with no ducting and air velocity reading was taken on the intake side of blower. Test 2 was the same except a 10-inch ducting was place on the exhaust side of the blower. Test 3 was the same as test 2 with a 10-inch ducting on the intake side, too. The air pressure that supplied the blower range from 90 to 120 psi. during all testing periods from a air hose.
