Inherently Buoyant Ring Buoy with Distress Marker Light

Inherently buoyant ring buoys with distress marker lights are to be stowed all man overboard and replenishment stations. This ring buoy is used as a floating distress signal and does not need a retrieving line. A distress marker light (N SN 6230-01-143-4778) shall be attached using a 4 foot long ¼ diameter polyethylene line (NSN 4020-00-968-3438). Reflective tape (NSN 9390-01-292-6137) shall be placed completely around the light near the lens.  Stow the light inverted in the bracket.
